ABOUTI first came to Hawaiʻi in 2014, and like many, fell in love. Not with the postcard version. What draws my wife and I back year after year—mostly to Maui—is the deep relationship between the people and the land.
The sense of place. The humility. The mana.After a decade of returning—and missing only two years due to external circumstances—we’re now seeking to spend extended time on Maui. But we want to do it the right way: in a way that gives back, supports kamaʻāina, and respects the complex challenges facing the island—and Hawaiʻi as a whole.That’s where ROAR was born.-------------------------------------------ROAR is:
